Executive Summary

HEW Consulting was established by Nitzan Jacob Sahar, B.Sc Kin, R.N. Mr. Sahar launched a successful business in 2005, Total Home Care. This company started as a service addressing personalized home care needs and quickly grew to include retirement and long-term care facilities and hospitals. Since the primary focus was initially acute care patients, Mr. Sahar quickly built long lasting professional relationships with ER and ICU medical and nursing staff and this became not only a strong referral source, it also led to effective recruitment of the best qualified home health assessment providers. Total Home Care eventually became a prepared service provider throughout the province of Ontario.

Mr. Sahar has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare including hospital, long term care and retirement based programs. He turned a degree in nursing into a successful healthcare management and entrepreneurial career. He is currently a consulting advisor to HPIN (Health Professional Integration Network) and a health service advisor to Med Alliance. He was a Clinical Classroom Instructor for Faculty of Nursing at York University, and is presently a curriculum consultant for the Faculty of Continuing Education at Seneca College.
